Selection Process

Step One: Application

Once you have found a role that inspires you, apply using the link below. Here you will submit basic information, a resume, and answer a few short questions.

Step Three: Performance Task

After a successful phone interview, we send you a performance task that is aligned to the work you will do in your chosen role, such as completing a lesson plan or providing feedback on scholar work.

Step Four: In-Person Interview

Candidates who submit excellent performance tasks will be invited to campus for a formal in-person interview. The day, you will teach a demonstration lesson and, after receiving feedback and debriefing the lesson, you will have the opportunity to reteach the lesson. The day will also include a more comprehensive interview. During this interview, you can expect scenario-based, problem-solving questions to determine a candidate’s self-reflection, commitment to relentless pursuit of results, critical thinking ability, and performance under pressure.

Step Five: Reference Checks and Verification of Experiences

The final step in our process are short conversations with the candidate’s references. We also verify previous employment, collect certification documentation, and confirm basic requirements to fill the position.
