Clarksdale Collegiate High School Information

Our Educational Program

Clarksdale Collegiate equips scholars in the Mississippi Delta with the knowledge, skills, and experiences to achieve college and career success. Our structured, ambitious, and joyful school environment challenges scholars academically, nurtures passions, and prepares them to become engaged citizens.

Starting in the 2025–26 school year, Clarksdale Collegiate will serve 9th grade and will expand one grade each year until we are a full K–12 school in 2028–29.

To graduate, Mississippi students must earn 24 credits. Scholars at Clarksdale Collegiate will have multiple pathways to meet this requirement:

  • AP Pathway – Advanced Placement (AP) courses that may earn college credit and strengthen college applications.

  • Dual Enrollment Pathway – College-level courses taken for both high school and college credit, reducing future tuition costs.

  • Early College Pathway – Through Coahoma Community College, students can graduate with both a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts degree.

  • Middle College Pathway – Students complete two years of college during high school and enter a bachelor’s program as juniors. (Requires GPA and ACT benchmarks.)

  • Alternative Diploma – Tailored program supporting students with specialized instruction, emphasizing skills for independent living and workplace readiness.

Student Support Services

We are committed to preparing every scholar for college, career, and life success through:

  • ACT Preparation – ACT prep is built into all four years of high school.

  • College & Career Readiness (CCR) Curriculum – Career exploration begins in 9th grade.

  • Tutoring and Mentoring – Additional academic and personal support is available throughout the year.

  • College Counseling – Weekly college counseling and goal-setting meetings begin junior year.
